Unfortunately, or fortunately, despite being lived in, it's a pretty boring room. Lots of datapads about, some tchotchkes. Generally neat, though Velocity can probably tell the stuff that's been haphazardly dumped to be seen to at a later time is probably Megatron's doing, given that one of said things is his fusion cannon propped up against the wall with a beautiful, starry cape that's definitely too big for him slung over it.
"My husband," he says slowly, expression going slightly tense at the mention of the organics, as he still hasn't really dealt with how he feels about them. "He runs the library."
Velocity's part parted in surprise. "You- Oh! I didn't- Oh!" She said again, feeling more awkward than usual that it was all she could seem to say, but he was married?
"You have a husband?" She gaped, then scrambled to correct herself. "I mean! Of course you do! I didn't mean to imply that I don't think you could be married, lots of people get married, and you count as lots of people even though you do get grumpy sometimes, and-" She started to stutter, then another thought percolated and her optics went bright as she fell into stunned silence for a few seconds because she'd remembered who ran the library.
"Your husband is one of the Optimuses?" She didn't know what to say, that seemed so... after all of the things he'd had her read about the war that still only barely scratched the surface...
How? How had they managed to cross this huge gulf that defined everything? And how had the other one still wanted them to?
She vented out quickly, then aimed for a smile. "That's- I mean- I'm happy for you! Congratulations!"
He's definitely not going slightly blue. That's just the lighting in here. Megatron maintains intense optic contact with her for a few seconds as she works through it, then looks away.
"It's complicated," he says after a moment. "The way everything in this fragging universe is complicated. But... thank you. I guess."
Not bothered if she follows or not, Megatron slips into one of the table seats, still feeling a little achy and nauseated from the dark energon, even after blasting it with as many ADEs as he could steal. Should he get more? Not a huge fan of these consequences.
"You can put what you brought wherever you want. I'm not going anywhere." A wordless note that she doesn't have to feel she must shuffle in and out as quickly as possible, maybe.
